Arnica Oil - 4oz

All of our Arnica products are made from fresh, undried, flowering Arnica cordifolia plants gathered at high altitude in northwestern Wyoming.

USAGE: For bruises, swellings, joint pain, inflammation, or sore muscles. Excellent for relieving the itching and swelling of insect bites.

CAUTIONS: External use only. Not for use on open wounds. Never ingest Arnica as it may blister the digestive tract or raise blood pressure, especially in coronary arteries.

DOSAGE: Massage freely into painful areas.

INGREDIENTS:Arnica is infused into almond oil and Vitamin E oil, scented with spruce essential oils.

Anyone who has used Arnica after a bad fall, turned ankle, or bumped themselves leaving bruises, can attest to the healing properites of the plant. German studies identified two substances, helenalin and dihydrohelenalin, which produce anti-inflmmatory effects. Other active components have been shown to decrease pain, swelling, and dissipate coagulated blood. Arnica works by stimulating the activity of white blood cells. Its main alkaloid resembles the active alkaloid of Echinacea. This stimulation causes much of the digestion of congested blood, and releases trapped, disorganized fluids from bumped and bruised tissues, joints, and muscles.
